PROGRAM:

THE RHYTHM IS GONNA GET YOU

Rhythm is a powerful teaching tool to create movement and help clients to center. We will explore how each Pilates exercise has its own rhythm, and that when applied correctly, centers the client allowing them to reap the benefit of the exercise.  To master using this tool requires practice, which we will do plenty of in this workshop!  First, feel it in your body, then we will apply it to our teaching approach.  You’ll feel and see the difference in this dynamic workshop!

BEFRIENDING THE CHEST EXPANSION

This important exercise is found throughout the system – but it’s not necessarily always understood! We will play around the system building up our understanding through new connections and new sensations allowing participants to walk away with a new understanding of the chest expansion.

UPSIDE DOWN

When used properly, the inversions in the system are amazing tools improving flexibility, mobility and circulation. They can be frightening at first, but when built-up intelligently, they are a lot of fun!  This workshop will focus on where to begin with inversions, how to build them and we’ll finish with a new perspective upside down.  

Lesley will also be available for private sessions/assessments Friday, Saturday and Sunday. This is an opportunity you do not want to miss!
